The CD version comes in a recycled card sleeve, with printed tracklisting on the inside, and all individually hand stamped on the outside. the band made each and every one, so they're all totally unique.

Nothing's Express is Modul.'s second release on U-cover. This time a lovely 3 cdr based on their ambient work. Five excellent created ambient tracks from this Russian trio. Classical deep gestgeworkjaseter.mihalranetniecoconkezufibucktet.infoinfog: Simon Whetham.

In the three pieces by The [Law-Rah] Collective things go under again, into the undercurrent of the styx with dazzling sizzling buzzing and ringing sounds of the analogue domain. Though their pieces are less of monolithic block of drones than Cisfinitum, The [Law-Rah] Collective have a somewhat more open sound, grey rather than black.

We stay there for quite some time and then we move into the third section of the piece, which seems to me a slight rework of Foust's tour CDR release 'Last Morning Rain'. The middle section is perhaps the most Foust like section, reminding us of the best Idea Fire Company work ('Beauty School' for instance), even when its more stripped down and Missing: Simon Whetham.

simon whetham. UK. From working with field recordings to exploration of the acoustic qualities of a space and resonances of objects, Simon Whetham composes and performs immersive collages, both meditative and thought provoking.
